Mighty Men

NLWC Mighty Men Ministry creates a strong bond of unity and solidarity among the men of New Life Worship Center, as well as other men who may attend functions sponsored by the ministry.  Spiritual enrichment, transformation and maturity are just a few results from our events.  Through this ministry, men receive a true understanding of their position as men of God in the body of Christ, at home, on the job and in the community.  This ministry seeks to influence, mentor and minister to men yet to come to Christ by sponsoring encouraging and edifying fellowship events.  Mentors and builders of strong men of God, the Men's Fellowship provides a rich network of various resources that encourages gainful employment, financial stability and spiritual enrichment.

Daddy's Girls

The Ministry to Daddy’s Girls is designed to provide various functions and activities for the women of the church to come together for Christian fellowship.  It also provides an opportunity for women to minister to each other from a female perspective.  The goal of this ministry is to equip women with the knowledge of God’s purpose for their lives.  They strive to develop women who will live virtuous lives, setting examples for their daughters and other young ladies to follow.  The Ministry to Daddy’s Girls also endeavors to minister to the spiritual needs of women, helping them to develop a close personal relationship with God.  “Understanding Who you are In Christ,” “God Designed Us Equal but Different,” “Understanding the Women’s Communication Style,” and “The Uniqueness of Women” are a few examples of many topics discussed in the sessions.  Finally, they try to reach out to women who do not have a relationship with Christ inviting them to accept Him into their hearts as their personal savior.

Willing Hearts

The Willing Hearts Ministry is a support system to members of the church and people within the community who may have emergency needs (Matt. 25: 35 – 40).  The goal of the Willing Hearts Ministry is to assist those who may have special needs, as well as to promote self sufficiency and increased faith levels which are practical truths that are taught by Dr. Carl and Barbara Vann.

Outreach Street Ministry

The NLWC Outreach Street Ministry is designed to provide an avenue to evangelize the community with the gospel of Jesus Christ and to harvest souls to be saved into His kingdom.  This ministry offers prayer to the sick and hurting, direction to the drifter, and encouragement to the hopeless.  The Outreach Street Ministry serves the community twice a month and as a result, many souls have been brought to Christ.

Sunday School

The Sunday School department is designed to help students connect to God’s word by showing them how the lessons might hold the answer to some of life’s problems; study God’s word to increase their knowledge; interacting with God’s Word through plays and skits; and finally, apply God’s Word in their everyday life.  The Sunday School department focuses on supplementing and reinforcing and complementing what the Holy Spirit is doing in and through the main church services.
